Historic Richmond Town

The power and intensity of the photographs of individuals who have memorial tattoos marking their personal loss and the community’s loss on September 11, 2001 are captured in this oversize postcard. Media coverage of the exhibition at Historic Richmond Town included a feature story on the front page of The New York Times’ Weekend Arts section. In anticipation of the anniversary in 2003, I gave Reuters access to this photo and several others. Newspapers across the US and in Europe published them and referenced the exhibition. Attendance increased dramatically.
